If you run your own website then getting approved from Google Adsense and earning your first dollar will be your first goal.

I was having this same kind of mindset when I launched my own website, back in 2020.

But getting approved from Google Adsense is not that easy. It demands a set of rules and that’s what I am going to discuss in this story.

So without wasting time. Let’s dive in.

Now let’s quickly move onto the tips to achieve the same amount for you.

1. Niche Selection:

Your niche plays a very important part here. If you are writing articles on illegal content that can harm someone.

Then forget about adsense. You will get banned forever. So be very careful while choosing your niche.

If you accidentally chose the wrong niche and want to change it. Then you can obviously talk to your service provider and correct it.

After choosing a good niche. The next step is to choose a light-weight and user friendly theme which suits your category.

Google demands some important pages like Sitemap, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer on your website.

This helps Google to crawl your website and find that it is worthy to approve or not.

Also this makes a good impression on Google and increases your chances to approve.

There are various privacy policy , disclaimer and terms & condition generators available in the market which you can use.

But don’t blindly copy and paste it. Thoroughly Go through it, Edit some changes if you want and then paste it on your site.

4. Unique Content:

Unique content is the most important factor in getting adsense approval.

If Google finds plagiarized content on your website then forget about adsense, Your article will never rank on google.

Try to write articles yourself. Don’t use an article spinner. Google algorithm is getting clever day by day.

So you might get blacklisted forever. If you are not good at writing. Hire someone but unique. Copyright Free Images:

Using copyright infringement images again puts a bad impression on Google and there is always a fear of getting a strike from the real image owner.

So better use copyright free images from websites like Pexels, Pixabay, Freepik, Unsplash, etc or make your custom images using Canva and Photoshop.

You can even ask permission from the original image owner to use it on your website.

But this process takes time, that’s why I will never suggest it to beginners.

6. Longer Articles:

Long articles have more chances to get ranked on Google. But in case you can’t write more.

Then at least keep your article from 500-700 words. This is a sweet spot where your article is not much longer or smaller.

You can even keep track of article length using the wordtracker websites.

7. Secured Website:

Keep yourself in your visitor’s shoe and imagine that you landed on an unsecured website.

Will you still continue reading with the same interest?

I don’t think so. Because our brain has a habit of believing in things which we find safe and secure.

So keeping your website secured also plays a very crucial role in ranking as well as getting approved from Google.

Final Thoughts:

Don’t apply for adsense within the first month.

Have some patience, Write 15-20 good articles upto 500-700 words with proper keyword placement.

Add important pages to the site and once you feel that you checked all the boxes. Then apply for adsense.
